Hatchery performance is good

In lower Columbia, hatchery program actions are improving or already have met the management recommendations. Actions to use wild fish in hatchery brood stock has ranged from 73 percent for coho to 100 percent for chum. Additionally, hatchery facilities are being upgraded to improve adult handling, rearing, and passage conditions.
